Grant Application Process

The application process consists of two parts: an informal letter of intent, followed by an official application. We encourage all applicants (there are no restrictions on who may apply) to submit letters of intent.

Letters Of Intent

TIMELINE
March 30th, 2007: Letters of Intent Due
April 23rd, 2007: Grant Applications Distributed
May 25th, 2007: Full Grant Application Due
June 29th, 2007: Award Notification Sent
July 2nd, 2007: Grants Begin

Deadline for Submission of Letters of Intent:

Friday, March 30th, 2007

Please fill out the questions included with the request for LOIs and return them along with a 1-page letter of introduction by March 30th, 2007. We will review all letters of intent and send full grant applications to all relevant projects in mid April.


Grant Application




Deadline for Submission of Grant Applications: Friday, May 25th, 2007


Submission guidelines will be available online, but the applications themselves will be distributed directly to feasible and applicable projects that submitted Letters of Intent. An outside and objective peer-review panel will judge the applications. Project selection wil take place throughout May, and responses sent to all applicants in mid June. Grants will begin in July.
